Saw this on Beech Bend's Facebook page today, it sounds like an awesome addition.

Hey folks! We've got a super special announcement exclusive to facebook! I promised that there would be some big additions this winter, and Beech Bend Park in 2012 would like to introduce a monstrous, giant 140 ft Drop Tower! This will be the single tallest ride ever in Beech Bend history! We need your help naming this bohemeth, so leave your best ride names as comments and the winner will get a special prize! Happy naming!

Looks like the new Drop Tower (which will be manufactured by ARM) has a name: Zero-G!

Introducing to Beech Bend park in 2012, Zero-G! The name of our tallest ride ever has been chosen! Zero-G is in reference to the zero gravity forces (or lack thereof) that you will feel while riding! Riders will feel weightless during their descent. Congratulations to Lorna Kirby on the winning name! You will be receiving a message shortly. And thanks to everybody for guessing! Make sure you check out our website for more information on Zero-G!
