pilotank Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 In 1984, Steve Hill researched the history of Coney and wrote a script. WCET produced and aired a historic documentary called Relive the Magic. I have struck out trying to get a copy. If anyone knows of this film, maybe they could put it on youtube.com so everyone can enjoy it like the other Coney films. It is an excellent documentary. This may have been on another thread, but I was unable to locate it. pilotank Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 I saw a movie online a while back where it was all about Coney Island, it was very very very interesting! Quote
jandyb79 Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 I have struck out trying to get a copy. I first began searching for that film during the summer of 2000. I first learned all the details from one of Coneys executives and shot emails to every possible lead. I called WCET who led me to a production company in Canada, which led me nowhere and back again...If you ever find it, please let us know! ~Josh Quote
kitransplant Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 I know this thread is as old as Coney Island itself, but your request can be answered. You can find the lost video with Glenn Ryle on Youtube. In case links are not allowed on a first post, type "relive the magic coney island Cincinnati" in the search bar. I was a rides/gamer at Coney during the 1990s. If you look at the Land of Oz part, I'm pretty sure I rode those same ducks in the 1980s and it's not impossible that I both rode and operated those cars too. 2 Quote
