On Saturday, May 24th 2008, Kaptain Robbie Knievel was set to jump 24 Coke Zero trucks at Kings Island - following in the footsteps of his father.

Here is a longer version of the jump, including more activities that they did throughout the day. This was a pivital day in modern Kings Island history. It showed upper management that risk/reward is the name of the game. If you didn't get to attend, this would be a good video to watch.

I was there that day and will not soon forget it.

I still have the program right here at my desk. That was the day they re-created 1975 in the park. I kept going down to the walkway behind Festhaus just to get into the "Do The Hustle" thing with the "theme people" (two of whom looked uncannily like my mom and dad c.1975)...hmmmm? Anyway, that was a good day at the park.

... I remember video of Robbie walking past Invertigo right as the ride 'looped' his head. Funny stuff.
