ohiocolts
Any thoughts if my baseball game in Hamilton at noon will/won't get rained out? I'm thinking yes because of rain over the past hour and the line of storms back to the west heading our way.
Dieseltech20
Cold and wet outside but at the moment the radar shows no real incoming rain. Cold I can handle.....wet, not so much.
rcs
Hope the skies clear enough so all you lucky folks going to opening day can get plenty of rides in. Wish I was there!
ohiocolts
I'm still not sure if I can go or not.
Dieseltech20
Local news is saying temps will be in the 60s. The weather isn't keeping everyone away. Our hotel is packed with junior high kids in Kings Island shirts.

TTD-120-420
As our mine. I still have hope, though.
KingsIsland1972
A Storm front from Terre Haute, IN to Kalamazoo, MI has now just crossed over Indianapolis and is now heading into Ohio via weather.com. As of 935am, the first batch of rain is on the Ohio boarder and could reach the park by 11am and the line of storms should reach Mason by Noon or thereafter. Still not sure about coming. Anyone froze yet??? www.weather.com
jcgoble3
I wore a warm long-sleeved shirt and a winter coat, and I barely noticed the cold except on rides. As a bonus, the coat was water-repellant, so the light showers before and after the storm didn't bother me either (I took cover in one of the arcades when the thunderstorm hit around noon). That one line of storms was all that hit the park, unless something hit after I left the area around 7:00.
Dieseltech20
The weather today SUCKED. Only exception was about 15 minutes during ERT when the sun was shining and the sky was clear. After that it was cool and cloudy until the rain started, after that it was cold and the lines were long. I was amazed at the amount of Junior High kids in the park, our hotel had 5 tour buses full of them.
SpongeBob
I just hope the weather cooperates with next fri and sat. Can't wait to be at the park, bright and early!
TTD-120-420
I thought the weather was perfect. We didn't get there until around 2. Other than being a little chilly, the day was fantastic.
