Electronic Lockers

Featured Replies

Has anyone on here used the new electronic lockers yet? If so, were you allowed to choose your own locker, or did the kiosk just randomly assign you a locker? I hope for KI's sake that it's the former, because if it simply assigns you a random locker, they're asking for a lawsuit over an ADA violation the first time a dwarf puts their money in and gets stuck with a top-row locker that they can't reach. Hell, I'm small enough that I have trouble reaching the top row; in the past, if I was given a key for a top-row locker, I'd go back to the rental counter and exchange it for a different one (which they were always happy to do). I really hope we can choose our locker or at least the row we want it in.

I personally dont know, but unlike you, I have issues with the lower lockers, bending down for me not fun, I always asked for a medium or a tall locker.

I'd be willing to bet an employee could accommodate a person that needs a lower locker,...It's not a big deal. These electronic lockers are used at many other theme parks.

If you call this an ADA violation, then the whole park is one considering said dwarf probably can't ride most of the rides and attractions.

That's not the test. The test is whether the park has made a reasonable accommodation. Look around the park. There's a lot of changes since last year.
