Have visited KI many times but have never had a season pass. We're going to do plantium this year to be able to hit KI and Cedar Point a few times.

If we buy them online, it says we print out a voucher and take it to the season pass office. Couple of questions for you about our first trip after the purchase:

1, Does the voucher get us free parking (since the pass includes parking, but we won't have the actual pass when we get to the lot)?

2. Can we still do the hour of early entry? I'd hate to have to spend that hour getting season passes made. Can we do the early entry and just hit the season pass office later in the day?

I did that on Friday, no problem. The voucher can be used for one entry to the park (parking and admission).

1. Yes. Make sure you have the voucher ready when you pull up to the tolls (it has a barcode on it).

2. Yes, but you can only use the voucher once for entry into parking and once for entry into the park before you get it processed into the ID card. It won't work a second time.

I did it on Friday as well. They just scan the voucher. If there is a line to process the pass, it really moves quickly. All they do is take your voucher, give you a card, snap your picture and off you go.

Just wanted to follow up on this...it worked exactly as described. Parking lot scanned the printout, and season pass center (which is outside the gate) was open at 8:30 to process the pass so I actually had it in plenty of time for ERT starting at 9. Very seamless.
