jandyb79
Riding The Racer for the first time in 1991 was one of the most thrilling experiences I ever had - at least up to that point in life! Until then, the largest coaster I had ridden was the Big Dipper at Camden Park (ridden for the first time in 1987). To me it is all about the ride experience rather than impressive statistics, so I can honestly say that my first ride on The Racer was equally thrilling to my first ride on The Beast. The Interpreter
That doesn't sound too nostalgic to me. It will be in about 30 years or so! You'll be telling the younguns the story about the time, long ago, back in the first decade of the 2000's, when Kings Island...and there were these things called Internet forums...Internet, what was that you ask, Sonny? Speaking of Sonny, they had this big wooden coaster I watched them tear down, it was only 12 years old...(the kids roll their eyes, having heard this many times, and plot their escape. Years later, they will wish they had asked more questions and listened better...) All of life is a circle....
