KIfan73 Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Wonder why Taft wanted him to "return to Coney Island to oversee its rebirth as an amusement park"? Quote
Guest KingsIslandPR Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Wonder why Taft wanted him to "return to Coney Island to oversee its rebirth as an amusement park"? They wanted to reopen Coney as a none competitor to Kings Island. He knew the park well having worked there from 1952 through the park's closing on Labor Day, September 6, 1971. Ed remained at Coney until his retirement. 3 Quote
KI-ORIG-EMP Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 I remember Ed and he was good to work for. It is a honor well earned. Quote
