Tanner Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I just caught the end of the segment, but on Channel 5 (NBC) they said something had caught fire at PKI. Anyone know what it was? It didn't seem very serious. EDIT: Just found a link. It was the Psycho Path attraction. http://www.wcpo.com/news/2004/local/10/09/fearfest.html
coasterrz Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Yes it was Pyscho Path, I rode The Racer yesterday around 9 o`clock and Pyscho Path was closed and gated off and there were a bunch of trucks on the path by it. I was wandering what was wrong because the trucks looked like firetrucks.
CoasterKrazy Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I had wondered why they announced that Psycho Path would be closed due to "technical difficulties." What exactly caught fire?
crosscountry4891 Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Wow, that's amazing because I was walking off PsychoPath around 9 PM last night. I didn't notice anything when I was walking through except for a guy not being able to get his chainsaw to start.
PKI_Diana Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I had wondered why they announced that Psycho Path would be closed due to "technical difficulties." What exactly caught fire? PKI employees can't tell you even if you were there.... But thankfully no one was hurt...
Dane Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Yea there was a fire on path, small one, no one was hurt.
Tanner Posted October 11, 2004 Author Posted October 11, 2004 The article says a covered walkway caught fire.
Tanner Posted October 11, 2004 Author Posted October 11, 2004 Boy Dane you're so funny. Too bad they're not teaching kids correct grammar either. If you'd read you'd notice someone asked what exactly caught fire. Your post wasn't exactly saying something that wasn't said either.
Hoskins123 Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Mod Edit: Innapropriate Picture. Get a life bro.
StXBomber Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 That picture is a classic. I didn't hear about this, as I wasn't in the park when the path was open. I worked an open on sunday (because practice got cancelled), but left as soon as my shift ended.
Dane Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Oh I could write a whole report what happened, but I don't care to educate you.
Tanner Posted October 11, 2004 Author Posted October 11, 2004 Who cares? There was a fire; we've established that. We'll be better off not reading it anyways.
BigJohnTheMan Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 Boy Dane you're so funny. Too bad they're not teaching kids correct grammar either. If you'd read you'd notice someone asked what exactly caught fire. Your post wasn't exactly saying something that wasn't said either. correct grammer??? clearly "you'd" is a contraction for "you would". Not "you had". Now how much sense does your post make. And by the way...is "you'd" even a contraction to begin with???? i could be wrong...who knows but im pretty sure it ain't. who cares about grammar dude, don't criticize it if you can't even do it right.
Tanner Posted October 12, 2004 Author Posted October 12, 2004 Yes you'd is a contraction for "you would." As that's what I was using it as. You also have alot of room to be saying anything about grammar.
stephenmayes Posted October 12, 2004 Posted October 12, 2004 This is getting a little stupid...Grow up people
