Is there any day during Labor Day weekend that is better than the next?

I have been attending the GE family day as long as I can remember but this year they canceled this outing. That in itself could be another topic. To keep to the point, I would like to know which day if any at all during Labor Day weekend would be the best/ least populated day. I am looking at Friday – Monday. Help please.

Finally, to actually answer your question, Friday for sure. That's a school day for many kids and a work day for many adults, which takes away a huge part of the crowds that would be there over the weekend. Monday (Labor Day itself) and Sunday would still have light crowds, but those two days would be busier than Sunday due to the fact that kids are not in school and most adults are not working. Saturday, as with any week, will be the busiest.

jcgoble3 That was most helpful! Very impressed. I hadn't considered the school aspect. I think the hours are shorter for Friday but with the lighter crowd that might not matter so much.

Yes, the hours are shorter on Friday, but you'll probably be able to do more that day than you would any other day that weekend because of the light crowds. Be aware that the waterpark is not open that day, though, so if you want to hit the waterpark, you'll need to select a different day.

Definitely Friday. Almost any day the kiddies are in school is going to be much less crowded than one they are not. And if you have to or want to go on Saturday Sunday or Monday blow some coin and buy Fastlane.
