Busch Gardens Williamsburg Trip Tips

Hey guys I'm currently in the Williamsburg area after a trip to Kings Dominion. I'm settling in my hotel and I'm going to be visiting Busch Gardens tomorrow. Any tips on the park? What should we ride first? Also any ideas of good food inside the park? What about in the area?

There is no bad food at Busch Gardens. Don't miss the shows, if they are still playing.

Expect crowds. School in Virginia typically doesn't start til after Labor Day.

During this week I'm guessing very short lines...ride everything!!!!! I think the longest wait we had when we were there was Dark Kastle.

Food...you can't go wrong anywhere in the park...I like the Festhouse in Germany and I usually get an Alpine sandwich...food can be pricey but it is ooooo so good at the park!

Since tomorrow is Wednesday, expect there to be no lines at all. (Unless there is a concert or some special event I am not aware of)

My favorite food is anything from Trappers Smokehouse in New France. Festhaus food is good, too.

If it is still being preformed, make sure to watch Celtic Fyre. Maybe watch it twice. It's that good.

Thanks for the tips! I'll be sure to do a trip report. Really excited for all of the scenery. BG Tampa was beautiful, so I expect the same here! Also excited for Verbolten and Alpengeist!

Trip was amazing! It truly is an incredible place! The scenery is top notch, everyone was friendly, and the rides and food were great. I'll be writing a report once I get back home. As of right now, still on the road from VA Beach.

Apollo's Chariot is much better than Diamondback IMO. I was simply amazed!
