Coaster-King Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 Why don't the different theme parks have different names for their water parks. PGA and Pki is Boomerang Bay. At www.screamscape.com they sad that Carowinds is going to expand and rename their water park Boomerang Bay in 2005. Why don't they have different themes and different names. That is the fun of going to the different theme parks. What do you think?
SixFlagsMasta Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 i totally agree that different names would've been better. they should've themed them all totally different. same with coasters..when someone says "i've been on Vortex" you're like, "which one!" cause there's no many rides/parks with the same name.
AZ Kinda Guy Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 (edited) Answer: Put yourself in John Doe and his familys shoes who rarely goes to different theme parks in the same year. Now put yourself in Paramount Parks shoes and hopefully you'd realize John Doe and company don't really care if a park 500 miles has the same name as theirs does 20 miles away. So if John Doe and family, the major source of cash for PKI, doesn't care then why should Paramount Parks? Edited January 1, 1970 by AZ Kinda Guy
Beastfreak Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 It works pretty well for the Disney parks.
