CP&LERR Fan
We left Cleveland Friday the 15th and came back today enjoy photos. My friend was drinking water. Now this was at Arlington cemetery. Our school had the honors to lay a wreath. Air and space museum Wright brother airplane. Yep, had to take a photo of a train. We had a "Cruise" dinner/dance. The eternal flame JFK memorial. To be continued......

CP&LERR Fan
Part 2..... Here were our chaperons, they were awesome. Now your gonna love this. Any one know whose desk this is? This is at Golden coral. Food sucked as I mentioned before. Now here is my friend Stephen after eating ice cream, brownies, and chocolate from the fountain at golden coral. NOW the scary part.... We got a warning around maybe 4 clock saying tornado watch. We were driving in to Pittsburgh when we got the notice. I'd say it was about six when we were getting close to Pittsburgh the wind was really picking up and it was hard to see for our bus driver. The lead bus in front of us said we might have to stop if it gets worse. We didn't and kept driving through Pittsburgh. around 10;30 we were driving down Wilson mills road in highland heights heading toward our school. I was sitting near the front of the bus. Most of my friends were asleep. A lot of the adults were awake including my dad who was sitting across from me. The bus in front of us was almost near the traffic light and then I saw a huge firework spark. The bus stopped. I turned to my left and thought I saw the transformer on a telephone pole spark. Our bus got a radio call from the bus in front of us who was stopped said, I think a wire is on top of the bus. My friends dad who was a electrical engineer said nobody get out the bus including us. Then I saw a wire on the ground next to our bus. The fire and police were dispatched and got there in less than 10 minutes. The fire department found out the wire did land on the bus in-front of us and the spark I saw was the wire splitting in half landing on the bus and the other have next to us. nobody was injured. Thedevariouseffect we were running out of time and did not see the memorial sorry.

JTW
I thought the scary part was going to be an adventure through a DC neighborhood, like the time I stayed at the Days Inn in Silver Spring about a mile away from the red line. Maybe Terp can elaborate. I'm glad you guys were all safe and didn't have to be stranded too long.
