crosscountry4891
How often did you go to WaterWorks? Will you go to Boomerang Bay more than you did WaterWorks?
StXBomber
Last season I did not go to WW once. I will definatly go at least once next season to check out the changes.
PKI Punk
I went once in 2002, but not at all last year.
TraderJake
I went to Waterworks five to six days a week... wait, I think you're asking how many times you went to actually enjoy the waterpark. Sadly, I never went to the waterpark to enjoy it in 2001-3, only to work there. After working in WW for three years the soundtrack just drives you mad, especially when they get rid of the coolest song, "Jacques Costeau". The last year I went WW for fun was in '98 or '99, I don't remember. I'll probably visit Boomerrang Bay at least one time, an employee has to experience the expansion to be able to tell the guests just how awesome it really is. And it will be awesome, which is another reason I'll visit it for fun at least once. Edited January 1, 1970 by TraderJake
fryler87
I've been to Waterworks a few times in my life, but now I'll definitely be making a few Boomerang Bay trips to the park this year. If a lot of the public is like me, the new expansion is going to be PACKED this year.
coasterrz
Da Ripper, you don`t have to shout. That`s a lot of Waterworks! Doesn`t it get a little repetitive if you were at the Water park that much? I personally haven`t been to Water Works in a couple of year. I was going to go this year, but I was going to go up with my cousins and well, they went on a day when I was stuck working down at Coney. Oh well. I never did get to ride those stupid speed slides they removed, but from what I hear, I didn`t miss much! EDIT: This is my 500th post! DA RIPPER
I'M SORRY I'M NOT YELLING. AT WORK MY COMPUTOR ONLY WILL TYPE IN CAPS LOCK. IT'S THE COMPANY NOT ME. I'LL NEVER HAVE A REASON TO YELL AT ANYBODY . I MAY NOT BE ON HERE LONG BECAUSE THEY WILL DELETE MY REPLY. I SPEND A LOT OF TIME AT WIPE OUT BEACH , MADE ALOT OF GOOD FRIENDS AT THE PARK. A LOT OF THE GUARDS ARE GOOD FRIENDS, AND I LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEW PARK COMING. I HOPE THEY CHANGE THE MUSIC IT'S TAKEN 3 MONTHS AFTER THE PARK CLOSED TO GET THE BIRD IS A WHALE OUT OF MY HEAD. SORRY IF YOU THOUGHT I WAS YELLING I FORGOT TO EXPLAIN. I JUST FORGOT I'M POSTING ON A NEW BOARD.
coasterrz
If you don`t mind me asking, why has your computer at work not been fixed? If you are doing any sort of correspondance, it wouldn`t be very professional to have a computer that is stuck in caps lock all the time. Also, I like the music that is played at WW, of course I haven`t been to WW in a couple of seasons. I like all the summer sounding music they play like the Beach Boys. DA RIPPER
I DON'T DO ANY CORRESPONDANCE OUTSIDE OF THE COMPANY. AND YOUR RIGHT IT WOULD NOT BE VERY PROFESSIONAL IF I DID. BUT THIS IS THE JOB I GOT. YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE SEEN MY POST ON HOW MUCH TIME I SPENT IN WATER WORKS OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS, JUST ABOUT THE SAME MUSIC OVER AND OVER KIND OF GETS TO YOU. SEEING A NEW PARK YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO SEE THE SAME RIDES IN EVERY NEW PARK BUILT. I LIKE THE BEACH BOYS MUSIC AND THE MUSIC THEME THAT IN THE PARK BUT FOR FIVE YEARS IT GETS KIND OF OLD . EVEN THE OLD GUARDS AT THE PARK FEEL TORTURED.
coasterrz
I hear you on that one. The music can get old after a while. For example, while working the Ferris Wheel at Coney, the songs in the shows got really repetitive. Which is only logical since each shift I worked the Ferris Wheel, I heard each one of the three shows at least once.
TraderJake
I have to say that music with words can get old after a while. Beach Boys day after day by day by day gets really really really really obnoxious (hope my point was clear). It's not really tortureous, moreso obnoxious, I can definitely live with it while I work. I'd have to say though that I loved the Street's soundtrack though. Got to love the movie themes.
DA RIPPER
SINCE THE PARKS GOING WITH A AUSTRALIA THEME. WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU GUYS THINK THEY WILL COME UP WITH ? I CAN'T THINK OF A MOVIE DONE BY VIACOM WITH A AUSTRALIAN SOUND TRACK. MAYBE THE TV SHOW SURVIVOR THE AUSTRAILIAN OUTBACK. WHEN PKI HAD THE WATER PARK TOUR, I'M NOT SURE BUT I SEEM TO REMEMBER SOME ONE SAY THEY MIGHT HAVE A LIVE BAND GOING AROUND THE PARK. DID ANY OF YOU GO ON THE TOUR AND REMEMBER HEARING THAT? fryler87
I THINK THAT AFTER I TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK, they would probably benefit from changing up the music ever so often. How often? I have no idea. Top Gun plays the Top Gun Soundtrack ALL THE TIME. Even just as a park customer, I grow tired of the theme music. Hopefully, the park will take note and improve upon this and make the music for Boomerang Bay assorted.
RyanA
I would say they will have a well rounded assortment of music for BB. Top Gun does get annoying, but I have no problem with waiting 3 hours(I've done it several times)for TRTR in the que line outside, I even bought the soundtrack because I liked it so much. Very relaxing. However, I pity the ride-op who gets stuck at TRTR's preshow. As a rider I can't stand that thing anymore, It's etched into my mind...
