Every time I see photos of abandoned amusement parks it makes me want pictures of Kings Islands junk yards.

Its sad that Six walked away from there and apparently took it as a loss.

That's a gross over simplification. After Katrina, that property is virtually uninsurable for use as an amusement park. The best evidence is the lack of development since despite strong efforts by local and state government to make it happen.

Six Flags made a business decision, one that time has so far proven wise.
