I thought I read somewhere that at a certain point KI will stop selling Gold Passes- is this true? If so, does anyone know when?

Anyone know when Soak City opens? And what about daily open times?

Gold Passes usually disappear after Memorial Day. As for the Soak City question, Kings Island has not yet posted their 2014 operating calendar, so we don't know.

Soak City usually opens the weekend of or after Memorial Day.

In past seasons, Soak City has operated from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. According to an archived page from visitkingsisland.com, the hours were 11:00am-8:00pm most days in 2013, with an abbreviated schedule in the early and late season. The operating schedule for 2014 has yet to be released.

If you decide to keep your passes, make sure to check out the live entertainment offerings in addition to the waterpark. Ed Alonzo's magic show was very entertaining the past two seasons, and there will doubtless be great offerings again this upcoming season.

Soak City will open Memorial Day Weekend. The opportunity to get a 2014 Gold Season Pass ends Memorial Day.

Soak City will be celebrating a certain feat in age this year too........

10th anniversary of Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay if anyones wondering. Also the 25th anniversary for the waterpark which opened as WaterWorks

25 years. Seems like an anniversary worth celebrating in my opinion. Perhaps some type of event could be held?

I know of a possible event that I know of but I cannot defer that due to it being of the "other site" kind, but a KIC Event would be FUN. (Ironic how I knew this first )

As per KI last year, gold passes will not sell after Memorial Day. (Usually they give a 3 day extension ) , Soak City usually opens Memorial Day weekend and gold pass get the early entry at 10:30
