Coaster-King
I was on www.screamscape.com and the said that there was big news about Pki and Pwc and it was about the big announcement on the 12 of August. Could we get the same attraction. Why is our announcement the same day as PWC? This makes me wonder. I hope it is a new major coaster. Does anybody know why they are own the same date and what are we getting? Can yall help me?
Screwball
We'll know on Thursday. At this point anything I would say is just speculation, so I'll leave it at that. However, rumours are heavy that PCW will recieve an Italian Job attraction for next year. Whether it's the same kind at PKI, time will tell. PkiJake13
What do you mean a ride period. Thanks
Tanner
Who cares if the parks announcements are on the same day? It's not a big deal and it's something you think you would see with companies owner by the same company. I doubt that it will be the exact same as ours. PKI Homey
Quite the reverse, Screwball. I'm betting on the Italian Job indoor launched coaster by Premier going to PKI.
Tanner
I don't think the launch will be inside, but I do believe parts of the ride will be. You wouldn't get the feeling of speeding inside as you would outside.
SixFlagsMasta
i would disagree... if you're inside next to a bunch of supports then yea you'll get the sense of speed.. it's kinda hard to tell outside because you have scenery far away in most cases.. in an indoor ride they'd try to bring the scenery right up by you.. we'll see though. fryler87
Scenery far away outside? Depending on the placement of this new ride (ahh Antique Cars ahh), I think it would be better to have the launch OUTSIDE rather than inside. From the inside of a building, you have NO perspective of the supports and secenery. Why? Because few patrons (and when I say few, I mean zero) have the chance to actually walk up to an indoor support or piece of scenery to actually see how big it is. Rather, if your perspective points are things such as a tree next to a path or a games booth, you have a whole new (truer) view as to how fast you're going. It's all in the eyes and brain. Screwball
Quite the reverse, Screwball. I'm betting on the Italian Job indoor launched coaster by Premier going to PKI. Correct, I meant there are rumours that PCW will add an Italian Job themed attraction as well. It's quite obvious that PKI will get one due to the great GR staff at the park, and the nice hints they have left.
GrandPoobah
PCW announcement I thought this was pretty interesting. A multi million dollar ride inspired by a Hollywood spectacular. And check out who the "Special Thanks" is for.

skatefanjeff
I can't wait I wish I could have been there! 10:53, still no announcement on the sites. This reminds me of the time I woke up extra early on January 9, to check out Top Thrill Dragster.
