Banshee Back VII
I was on Invertigo when it got stuck at the first lift yesterday (April 26th) and was wondering if this happens much.
themuska11
Usually for only a couple seconds before the catch car releases.

I'd hate to be stuck that long in one of the rows climbing the hill backwards.... thats a killer if you know what i mean.

malem
Rides are machines, and they do have occasional downtime. If riders are on board when an attraction goes down, the park's focus is to get them off as quickly and safely as possible. It's not normal for guests to be stuck for a long time, but some rides take longer than others to get everyone off. Usually, they get the ride moving again after a relatively short delay.
themuska11
Can you even be evacuated from Invertigo? Maybe with help from the fire department possibly?
milesharrison
Can you even be evacuated from Invertigo? Maybe with help from the fire department possibly? See this post. There's a cage that the maintenance worker rides in as the train is manually carted down. There's one of those cages at the top of each lift. However, if it would've been on the other lift, I think it might've required some extra assistance?

There looks like theres a cage atop the other lift too, but yeah once down the incline they'll probably have to be intentionally valleyed between the loop and hill and be evacuated there. Dalefan
It's better to be stuck on the lift hill then it is being stuck upside down.
