On Cedar Point's Facebook page, they updated their cover photo to a black and white picture of Mantis and it says: Mantis squashed October 19th. I'm personally surprised and sad to see it go.

    18 years doesn't seem like very long.

    Nope, maybe a relocation or refurbishment (floorless trains) I can only hope.

    It seems the stand up coasters are a dying breed.
