NoLimits8705 Posted July 6, 2003 Share Posted July 6, 2003 My trip to PKI on July 5th was a beautiful disaster! we didn't get to teh park till about 630 or so and we want straight to Delerium. Waitin' about 20 minutes or so for that, I waved "hi" to Ashley the ride-op and Tim the guy at the entrance. We rode that and made wierd noises on it. After the ride we went to the stunt grill and ate. After we ate my friend Heather and her cousin went to Spongebob, but that area was closed. So we rode SRAR and tried to grab leaves off teh tress, btu culdn't! Which depressed us. So then we went to EAGLES and in line Heather and were dissin' each other and makin' fun of each other. Specially that we went out three times and are still best friends. And the people behind us were crackin up laffin', specially when I told Heather i will beat ehr liek a step child. Then her cousin tried to dump all my cds out and I said I woudl put her in time out if she didn't stop. The peopel laffed again. It was great! Then we were talking to the ride-op Tyler and Heather's cousin was flirting with him and crap so I squashed that for her, by tellin' him her age. Ohh yeah also in line I was telling her about the time i kept slappin' myself harder and harder in religion class when Terri told me to and everyoen in line laffed at me. Then also the time when I beat myself up with boxing gloves on my friend's porch, just to prove that I can do it and eveyrone laffed again. So that was the best experiance in a ride line I have had all year. SO then we rode the eagles and whiel riding heather's dad called my cell fone and he told us to "haul a$$ when we get of the ride"! So when it was over we took off our flip flops and ran from eagles to down past the old fashioned cars station that is not in use anymore. And they had it roped off and heather starting cussing at the workers standing there cuz it was marked off and we needed to get thru before it starting to rain. SO we took off running back towards rivertown and I stepped ins umthing wet, butept running, We ran thru HB and then finally got to International street and that is when all the crap started! The people were just shouldr to shoulder not going anywhere, but Heather and I and her couzin were dipping in diving thru folks and made it under the entrance thing, got out hands stamped and bolted for the exit. Someone said stop running but we didnt. We were parked in GP parking in row 50 near the sign and we was half way there when it started to rain. And I was scremaing my hair my hair...it'a ll wet! ANd Heather and her cousin were cracking up. So we got to the car and sat there breathing hard an laffin'. Then it stopped raing and started nd tehn stopped again. So I was like let's get do "The Cleveland SHuffle". So i ot my cd out with the music and we started to do it in the puddles of water with no shoes on and spalhing everywhere. Then the song was over and I did a tap dancing time step in my puddle and sang "SIngin' In The Rain"...So much fun fun fun!! Then The fireworks started and it was teh usual boren one at first, but then they got really really good. We got back in the car and Heather is terrfied of lightening so she was like, "Ohh that was pre---AHHHH LIGHTENING!" It wa sos funny! lol So then we left the parka nd went home listening to ***** CONTROL by Prince! So great! That was a beautiful day because of the fireworks, but a disater cause of the rain and parkign problems we had! All in all it was fun though! NIGHTS OF FIRE WAS GREAT! "HAPPY 4TH ON THE 5TH!" Dino2003 Posted July 8, 2003 Share Posted July 8, 2003 (edited) Yeah the 4th and 5th was pretty much ruined....i was gonna go to PKI saturday but the weather was just to awful PLUS dayton,Beavercreek had twister warnings sooo its a good thing i didnt go! Then Mr. Walden's brother called and said a tornado had touched down On Diamondmill and that is right near my friends house. They were worried cause Tasha ( their dog ) was home alone. However still loved that day and evryone is okay. Also RIPCOBRA that is cool that you don't think if it funny, I thought it was and so did the people in line. But I can't please everyone.
