kingsislandfan1972 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I was looking at random amusement park videos, and I had come across a video called Kings Dominion History recording pre 92 part 1 (Could somebody please post it on here because im on mobile and I dont know how to post video links while I am on mobile). I think that this was supposed to be a video made by Kings Dominion to show guests a little preview about the park. But if you watch to the 3:00 minute mark, then you can hear Yogi Bear says to join him at Kings Island. Was this an actual video made for the park, and if it was, then why does it mention Kings Island, when its promoting Kings Dominion? 1 Quote
BlondyRidesOn Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I saw that video as well a while back. I was also confused at why he said that. It's possible that they were trying to advertise both parks, since they were both owned by Taft/KECO at the time. Quote
BB1 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 It's a 3 in one deal: Advertise for the Kings Dominion, show how similar it is and how much fun can be had here as well. Advertise for Kings Island, the thrills and fun of Kings Dominion, and so much more are to be had here. Advertising for Hanna-Barberra, show off their characters and that one could experience all of their favorite childhood favorites at both parks. It's a simple yet very strategic aim to get guests from Virginia and the surrounding areas to come to both properties. 6 Quote
jcgoble3 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Is this it? I can't stream videos well right now because I'm in the middle of a massive download. 4 Quote
