BoddaH1994
CINCINNATI, OH -- Uh-oh, this is not good! Apparently, there has been a breach in security at a top spy agency, and important information has been leaked. Even worse, there is a double agent betraying the country. In an effort to cover his tracks, the double agent has planted a bomb in the agency’s lab and the explosion could be devastating. Now, your country needs you… As a deep cover agent, it is up to you and your fellow agents to work together to discover the double agent’s secret identity, disarm the explosive device, and save the world…all in just one hour, or Kaput! And the clock is ticking… This is the fun theme for the Double Agent Dilemma, a brand new escape room at the popular Escape The Room Challenge in West Chester. The new room opens January 14th and will be the third themed room at the escape room attraction. When it first opened last April, Escape The Room Challenge offered two themed rooms -- Esmeralda’s Curse placing gamers in a mysterious gypsy fortuneteller’s parlor, and Escape The Mob taking place in an old warehouse containing mob-stolen valuables. The new Double Agent Dilemma room will be one of the most technological and innovative escape rooms in the nation, bringing high-tech problem-solving to the realm of collaborative gamesmanship. Double Agent Dilemma is designed to allow up to 14 people to participate in the problem-solving adventure at the same time. Escape room adventures are the latest and sizzling-hot entertainment attractions sweeping across the nation, taking the popularity of on-line escape room video games and transporting them to a real-life setting. Typically participants are locked in a large themed room and must use their collective brainpower and work as a collaborative unit in a team effort to unravel clues and solve puzzles in order to escape the room in one hour. Staff members are in adjoining rooms monitoring the group’s activity, and there is a “Help” button that can be used if participants need help deciphering a clue. The Escape the Room Challenge is owned and operated by Entertainment, Inc. Owner of Entertainment, Inc. is Don Oeters, who also created and is owner of the multi-award-winning EnterTRAINment Junction train-themed family entertainment center, which is on Squire Court in West Chester right next door to the new escape room attraction (located at 7391 Squire Court). The Escape The Room Challenge is open year-round. Times are: Wednesday and Thursday, 2 p.m. -6 p.m. Fridays, 6:30 p.m-9 p.m., Saturdays 1:30 p.m.-9 p. m. and Sundays 1:30 p.m.-6 p.m., Admission tickets are by reservations only and are available only on-line atwww.escapetheroomchallenge.com. Admission is $28 per person, with group discounts available. Parking is free. Teaser video:
