In March, 2015, Shake Shack applied for trademark registration for "Chicken Shack."

Today, the Chick'n Shack sandwich debuts at Shake Shack.

    prior use? not as good a defense as it once was, but could be invoked if need be.  Given the different uses-eatery v food item, probably not enough for CF to worry about.
