April 22, 201610 yr Was there something I missed? It seems from reading other threads that the KI webcams used to actually be "live feed", however whenever I've gone to view them, they update in 5 min intervals. I actually can't remember them ever being "live", but I've only started visiting them regularly fairly recently. Have they always been this way?
April 22, 201610 yr They started doing it last year I believe. If you click on the image itself or the hyperlink for live feed under, it'll pull the live feed up, otherwise you will get the still shots.
April 22, 201610 yr No. It used to be 1 minute intervals (give or take) and 'Live Feed' or technically Thrill Stream. Is something that is new.
April 22, 201610 yr Author It's a shame the live feed is just stills though. And from what I can tell, I still have to manually refresh the page at the end of every 5 min interval to get the new still.
April 22, 201610 yr You should be able to click on a link under the image, to the right that says live stream. It'll bring you to a pixelcaster Website. Here is the Diamondback Webcam link. http://pixelcaster.com/live/kingsisland/Diamondback.html
April 22, 201610 yr Odly enough, on the browser tab, both cams say "King's Island Banshee Live Camera"
April 22, 201610 yr ^ I noticed that a while ago but I never really said anything because the park has a lot more important things to look for than just a browser name change.
April 22, 201610 yr Yeah, i was gonna bring it up on the errors thread but never got the chance to and then forgot about it.
April 22, 201610 yr Author Also that http://pixelcaster.com/live/kingsisland/ points to California's Great America. Someone mentioned it on a different thread too I believe
April 22, 201610 yr Author I can view the live stream no problem. It's not live though. Its a live feed of 1 still shot every 5 minutes.
April 22, 201610 yr Speaking of webcams, why did they get rid of the Soak City and Planet Snoopy webcams? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

April 22, 201610 yr mine is showing noone there even now that they are open they don't open until 5 today
April 22, 201610 yr I just looked at the Diamondback camera, and can see people walking around on the midways. Diamondback's trains are stacked on the brake run, and a look at radar suggests that everything might be down for storms in the area, hence why you don't see rides moving right now

May 30, 201610 yr Speaking of webcams, why did they get rid of the Soak City and Planet Snoopy webcams? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk This question again... Does anyone know?
May 31, 201610 yr I think they got rid of them with the installment of the Live Webcams if I remember properly.
May 31, 201610 yr I'm not sure what that means. They had four webcams at the start of last season... But then 2 of them (Planet Snoopy & Soak City) disappeared from the website. I thought all 4 were live when they had them... But maybe not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
May 31, 201610 yr I know some dissapeared when they put in the Banshee and Diamondback live streaming cameras. Before they used to be a live still every minute.
