KatieF
Last night, I watched a documentary about Kings Island on Youtube and they talked a lot about the creation of International Street. They mentioned that the shops were originally themed to different countries. I rarely go and explore the different stores anymore, other than the occasional visit to the 80's shop. I don't remember any internationally themed stores, so I was curious of what were some of the shops originally on International Street. When did International Street start changing? Sorry if there's already a topic for this.
Browntggrr
I noticed IS changing shortly after Paramount took over. First, it was the music changed to Paramount movie music, then the shops became more "corporate" as opposed to "unique".
KatieF
As a store merchandiser, I wonder what has sold better or if it's purely contracts.
Shaggy
The most notable - and memorable - shop to me was always the Bavarian Toy store. It was a specialty toy store that featured exclusives and foreign toys that were not available at *regular* US toy stores. Things made in West Germany, Sweden, Norway etc.
KatieF
That would be wonderful! How were the shops transformed for Winterfest in the past?
