SonofBaconator
The announcement of the mini dive coming to Fiesta Texas in 2022 shocked the amusement park community and got a ton of people speculating about changes in the chain. With a new CEO, I want to discuss whether or not Six Flags is catching up and how other chains like Cedar Fair respond. Cedar Fair's favorite parks don't necessarily directly compete with Six Flags (an argument can be made for Carowinds and SFoG), but what about the parks in the CF chain that do? Will we see Cedar Fair invest more in their parks that compete with Six Flags like CGA, Knotts, Dorney, WoF, and so on? I argue this might be a good strategy considering investing more in these parks, at least CGA and Knott's, would keep them competitive with Six Flags.
