italianchef
I know this was discussed WAY back when, but I'd like to ask about The Paramount Restaurant. How many dining rooms does it have? Is there a bar? How elegant is it? If PKI holds a 7/4 dinner there again this year, I might seek a baby sitter and take Mrs. Chef there. However, I'd like details about The International Restaurant before making plans to take Mrs. Chef there on the only day it's open to the public. Have a great day! PKIWorker19
The international restaraunt has ( as far as I know ) just the seating that is visible from International Street and then there is also the board room, but I do not think there is a bar or anything like that there. Just letting ya know.
BoddaH1994
Open to the public there are 3 rooms. There's the main room which is in the center, beyond that is a smaller room which I believe was the private room, and on the opposite side there is a room themed to horses/carousels. Behind that room is the conference room.

PKI_Diana
There's a bar room, that is in between the carousel room and the main dining room, but it had no alcohol in it last night...
Fo-Shame
Ok, with names and all.... Standing in front of the fountain looking at the IR, and going from left to right... You first see the "Caprice Room" which was the VIP/Big Whigs lounge with couches, tv, private bathroom, and a miniature bar. Then the main dinning room with a split level seating area as to allow the people farthest from the window to still have a view, similar to stadium style seating. Then comes the bar/lounge, which had all alcohol removed when the IR closed its doors... well removed from the bar but not the building Lastly, you can see the "Carousel Room" which was a dinning room/party room. It is decorated with carousel horses on the walls giving it its name. This room is the farthest to the right that you can see from International Street. This room also has a bar. Then starting from behind the Carousel room and going back left... You of course have the Board Room, which you can see the windows of when standing over by Paramount Theatre, this is the same Board Room used in the Brady Bunch episode at Kings Island. The same funky art work is still on the wall in that room, and pretty sure the chairs are still the same, as how they are funky and orange. Then moving left you have a hallway with storage rooms, two offices and some bathrooms, and eventually you get to the kitchen which runs the length of the main dining room and goes to the end of the building. Wow! Thank you for the information. The International Restaurant sounds like a great place to take Mrs. Chef if they open it to the public this year. Have a great day! BoddaH1994
I thought you and Yukari went there for the Gold Pass thing on last year's 4th of July.
italianchef
I thought you and Yukari went there for the Gold Pass thing on last year's 4th of July. We were supposed to but didn't because of the HORRIBLE rain storm that canceled the fireworks and sent us leaving early to our hotel. BTW, if you wish to baby sit Nino, we'll be happy to go this year. Have a great day! Italian Chef
