CoasterKrazy Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 On nearly all of my visits to the park this year, the midcourse brake run on Flight of Fear has been turned on, and it also seems that only two trains are being used. Why the sudden change from a rather long period of no-brake rides? Quote
harvesterofyoursorrow Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 Well, it all depends on how fast they launch you. They could launch you super fast (Like the ride I had today) and brake alot. Or, you can have a slow launch and no brakes. It dose seem like they are launching faster and not braking as much. Also with Italian Job, I almost blacked out in the helix's. Quote
beastdude Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 I can't beileve you almost blacked out it was not that strong of a helix. Quote
harvesterofyoursorrow Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 Well, I was feeling light headed, and it seemed very intense, maybe I'm dehydrated, becuase I'm feeling the same right now. Quote
TRTR Guy Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 Yeh, I noticed that FOF was trimming in the MCBR too, but oh well theres reasons for it, it was nice to have no trimming for 2+ years. Quote
FOF/Z 4-ever Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 FOF has been running 2 trians for a while now. I think ever since 2001, when they changed the restraints. Quote
TRTR Guy Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 Indeed, allthough at the beginning of 01, there was still just one train, which was a pain, casue we wouldnt get done cycling until like 2 hours after the park closed. Quote
FOF/Z 4-ever Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 yep, i know. i was there. there were a few times we went down to one train throughout 2002 as well. Quote
