TRTR Guy Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 In honor of my 666th post (which is the Log Flumes section number, thus why im making this post) Do you like it as Wild Thornberries River Adventure or how it use to be (Kings Mill Log Flume) Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I dont think it makes much difference one way or the other, same ride, different theme. The thornberrys theme doesnt add much too it, just a giant floating plastic van. I do miss the big wheel though. Quote
kong fu man Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I have to agree its the same track but differt themeing. Quote
RailRider Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 New Theme same Ride. Doesnt really matter to me. Quote
Gulliversrubadub Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I liked it better as Kings Mills Log Flume but it doesn't matter. WTRA has some theming to it but I wouldn't call it a Hollywood makeover. Quote
italianchef Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Personally I like the Wild Thornberry's better because the theming gives it a Disney-like atmosphere. Rather than just riding a log flume, I enjoy the fantasy of living out a Wild Thornberry adventure. Have a great day! Italian Chef Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 I wouldn't call it a Hollywood makeover. Look at how it looks NOW compared to how it USED to look. That is definently a Hollywood makeover, even if the show does suck and doesnt have any new episodes and is only shown at 6 in the morning. Quote
harvesterofyoursorrow Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 I must say, I like the new version. I rode the old version and it was very boring. Now what water ride I would like to see come back would be KC:KC. That ride was awsome! The drop was HUGE! Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 I loved how the Kings Mills flume looked better than the Thornberries but really their the same ride experience minus the makeover. You still get the same effect ride wise. But theming wise, it is definently a hollywood makeover. Quote
Mech 2 Unit 825 Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 I don't like either, its a pain in the butt to fix. Quote
screamingnight Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 To me their both the same! They just added more effects which made it a little better themed. Quote
