Stewart32 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 My family and I are taking Labor Day weekend to spend a day at PKI. Sadly the summer has seemed to slip away before we could find opportunity to drive up, from KY. I am really looking forward to it. Was just perusing this site and realized that I have not experienced so many of the ah...new rides. Been going for 20 years, but the last several trips have been devoted the smaller rides, for my son is only 4. Before long, we will be riding the "big stuff" together...and I look forward to it. Great Site BTW! Spent an hour reminiscing... Quote
TOPGUN1993 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Make sure to take your son on SDATHC and take him on taxi jam to make him a roller coaster freck . Quote
King Bowser Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Enjoy Hanna-Barbera land while you can! SDATHC is great my nephews love it of course they are die-hard scooby doo fans. Quote
Stewart32 Posted August 31, 2005 Author Posted August 31, 2005 The boy already has experienced The Beastie. His most technical coaster so far has been Greased Lightning in KK. This is a screamin deamon style loop. Quote
bdboy007 Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Is he tall enough to ride runaway reptar? 44" my 4 year old loves it Quote
Stewart32 Posted August 31, 2005 Author Posted August 31, 2005 With a little luck, he will be able to ride it this year. Quote
bdboy007 Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 What is the height requirements for greased lightning, it sounds like one of pki's 48" rides Quote
Stewart32 Posted August 31, 2005 Author Posted August 31, 2005 I'm guessing 36", possibly 42". He was in the train and had to get out to "measure up" with the proof stick. The crown of his head was just over the line. Quote
