It should be noted that AstroWorld was closed over Labor Day weekend when evacuees from New Orleans and Superdome were relocated to Astrodome, and Six Flags did not want to interfere with relief efforts. It reopened weekends starting last weekend, but will close for good Sunday, October 30.
