I should have explained that I've been to Disney and Universal in the busiest seasons and they still have things down for repair and refurbish. You would think they would use the off season for such things but they don't. That's the comparison I was making. Sorry for not being clear about that. As for PKI, when we were there last Monday there were plenty of rides open to ride. I had friends with me who do not have passes and they were fine with what was open and what wasn't. UCcatguy52 Posted April 20, 2006 Share Posted April 20, 2006 I cant wait until the park is in full swing either because then all the rides will be open, except for major breakdowns, but other than that it will be a fun summer to go up to PKI on days off or just to have fun. The thing that is going to be amazing is when Son of Beast opens back up after all its refurbishing, the line is going to be really long. On my first day working at Top Gun, i had a lot of guests ask me when Son of Beast was going to open because they really wanted to ride it. So that day is going to be fun to work as well. I had a good first day of work, no guests were rude to me and I thank them for that and I hope I wasn't rude to them, but I can see like if guests got dissapointed for the rides running slowly because of the first weekend and all of the new workers getting used to it, but things will pick up soon. Many of them did not know that it was closed, and many were dissapointed when they found out it was closed. Just goes to prove that while us enthusiasts may not particularly care for the ride, the general public generally likes the ride. Hopefully all the work the park has done on it over the winter makes it a more enjoyable ride all ardound.
