CarolinaCyclone Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 I noticed (as with many other parks in the country) that you couldn't find any shirts or hats with old rides on them like Vortex. My wife had been a pki visitor from when she was a kid, and mentioned that you also used to be able to get stickers and patches with the rides on them. I would love a Vortex sticker for my guitar case, but none were found... Is this a hopeless search? Quote
Pirate of PKI Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Is this a hopeless search? Basically. You're only going to be able to find that kind of merchandise in a rare eBay auction. Quote
CarolinaCyclone Posted April 20, 2006 Author Posted April 20, 2006 That's what I was afraid of...oh well.... Thanks! Quote
Enchanted Voyager Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 It's worth it though, I got an old King Cobra mug from e-bay. My coffee taste Cobra-ific every morning now. Just look at the reliabilty of the seller by their user reviews. (wow cobra-ific sounded cooler in my head) Quote

DeLorean Rider Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 I bought a 1987 map, brochure, Vortex pin and shiny Vortex sticker on ebay for like 3 dollars once. Quote
Pirate of PKI Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 To keep the spirt of old PKI drinking cups/shot glasses/mugs mentioned above, there is now an Outer Limits shotglass auction going on: http://cgi.ebay.com/Paramounts-Kings-Islan...1QQcmdZViewItem Quote
exscream team Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 i went to goodwill and found an old bat roller coaster mug i got it for only 99 cents(its a steal)it is one of most prized possession.try goodwill and yard sales to look for rare roller coaster and theme park merchandise. Quote
Jasper Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 I have a button (Pin) from Lexmark's 1996 Family Days promoting Outer Limits:Flight of Fear, as well as some playing cards with the original Face/Off design on them. At one point I had a Drop Zone, yes I said it Drop ZONE, shot glass until it fell off of my rack and busted into about 7 pieces. I believe firmly that if KI opened up an auction of old merchandise or put that on their website, they would make a killing. I for one know I would be purchasing some things from there. rotag Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 i got this, & its still in use: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30619808&l=584b5991ef&id=1068349052 Quote
