KIfan73 Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Whew, just got home from the park. If I go by myself, I like to go when it first opens, and then usually by about 1 or 2 pm, I'm ready to head home. I've usually ridden everything by then and ate lunch. The park looked really nice today. Thought it would be sort of a "light" day...not at all! By the time I left, there were what I would estimate over an hour or more wait for every ride. Even The Racer had a line into the midway. When I left the parking lot @ 1 pm, it looked nearly completely full. Overall great day! Quote

TopThrill Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Yes it was busy, at 12:00pm it was 18,000+. That was ok, but by 3pm 31,000. Luckuly I was just an open. The day was nice and cool, with a light brizze. Some of you should have seen it out in by front gate, by 12pm we couldn't walk outside. There were lines from ticket scanners to the medal deteckeders. Snake Attack! Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Yeah the crowds were bad but I am not sure why because I think only like 5-10 thousand go to Timberwolf for Spirit Song that puts us down to 25 thousand but that is really a lot of people to be in the park for a typicall Thursday Quote

When I was leaving the main north lot was full, there were traffic cones doubled up telling people to head over to south lot. Quote
