water park question?

Featured Replies

Hi, wondering if eye gogles are permited, my kids absolutly HATE water in thier eyes so for them to enjoy these would really be needed, just the simple ones that cover eyes not the full face masks. THanks!!!

Yeah im a lifeguard at the waterpark, u can use any goggles not covering the nose, although some guards might request on some slides that u take them off. But for the most part they should b fine.

goggles may be worn on any ride or attraction as long as they do not cover the mouth or nose, this is because, if we have to make a rescue, our first objective is to get the victim nose up, stable, and breathing, and it would be impossible if the nose is covered.

SOME guards? For the MOST part?

Is there no consistent, uniformly applied POLICY????

Ultimately, as it should be, I'm certain it's at the attendants discretion.

If it creates a situation that they believe to be unsafe, I'm certain their ok to ask them to remove the masks/goggles.

we do what we have to, but goggles (as long as they don't cover the nose or mouth) are ok on every ride/ attraction at boomerang bay, i can promise you that.

ANother question regarding the water park... can we wear water shoes???

I hate to bump an old thread but are water shoes permitted on the slides? I am a tenderfoot and scorched the devil out of my feet my last visit to Water Works (yes, it has been that long ago). ;)

My brother is a lifeguard at BB and he told me that water shoes are not permitted on any of the rides. Sorry.

^ Yeah I have seen people try to ride rides wth them but the lifeguards make them take them off. No more shoes for poor old whimpy
