baseman478
Yesterday was a pretty warm day at the park, but that didn't stop myself, my mom, grandma, my aunt and cousins from enjoying the rides. We got to the park around 11 AM, and headed straight for Action Zone. I noticed that Delirium had a shorter line, so we went in line. We had to wait maybe 4-7 cycles, but it was worth it. We then headed over to topgun, and I noticed that the train was off of the lift hill and the cherry picker was back by top gun. Someone on the board already mentioned this, but I don't remember the train and cherry picker left the SOB. Anyways, top gun was a fun ride, but of course it didn't last long. From the view, the Great Wolf Lodge was going along well. After top gun, we walked over to viking fury and that was a walk on. Then, we went over to Adventure Express and that was also a walk on. It's a good ride, but I go for the larger stuff After that, we all headed over to coney mall, and rode the Italian Job. It was a good ride, with not that long of a wait. Next came, The Racer and the Flight of Fear. On The Racer we only had to wait one train, and then we were off. My cousin and I rode the forward racer. It was really bumpy and jerky, but I guess we enjoyed it because we rode again. Then on Flight of Fear we were able to walk all the way past the ufo before stopping, so the wait wasn't long at all. It has to be one of my favorite rides there, along with Vortex and The Beast. After the Flight of Fear, we then walked to Vortex and then had lunch at subway. Vortex wasn't that long of a wait, and I enjoyed the ride as usual. It was my cousin's first time on it, and he was pretty scared but liked it in the end. After riding The Beast, a little bumpy, but still a classic, we walked over to check out the Nick Universe area. My younger cousin doesn't like the larger stuff, so we walked over to Nickelodeon Universe. It was basically my first time in Nickelodeon Universe since 2001, when I was 10, and it is obviously different. We rode The fairly odd coaster (I kept calling it The Beastie, Times have changed), Runaway Reptar, and the Danny Phantom Flyers. After Nickelodeon Universe, it was about dinner time so we went out of the park for Wendy's. At about 7, we came back in hopes for the fireworks. We rode Adventrue express again, Top Gun again, and Flight of Fear again. It was more than a 30 minute wait, but we decided to stay and get one last ride in. My cousins were tired by the time it was 9:50 ish, and they couldn't stand waiting another 10 minutes for the fireworks, so we left. All in all it was a great day to be at PKI, minus the heat. I know I missed coasters we rode, but I can't think of them at the moment. So that was a long trip report.
BoddaH1994
Cool trip report. In all honesty, I don't know how you dealt with the humidity that we've had here recently.

PKIVortex
Are you trying to say that the train that was on SOB's Lift is no longer there? If if not I wonder how they got it down? I thought they were not going to run any cycles yet?
KIBeast
Sounds like you had a good time in spite of the blistering heat. Don't worry about calling that coaster The Beastie instead of Fairly Odd Coaster. I still refer to it as the Scooby Doo. Wonder what they did with the theming from The Beastie cars? I think they should sell it on ebay.
baseman478
yeah it was pretty hot, but we drank a lot of water. I was fine the whole day . I'm pretty positive I didn't see the train on the lift hill. I might have not looked really well, but then again it was on my way past Action Zone so I was in a hurry.
