July 24, 200620 yr Author http://www.extremepki.com/gallery/displayi...lbum=152&pos=11 TOPGUN does have a helix by Son of Beast.
July 24, 200620 yr The Beast helix. It is so refreshing going through a tunnel twice and a helix twice. Also give your self a challenge. Put both arms forward through the tunel to see if you keep them straight. It can get kinda tricky. Thats why I like The Beast there is nothing like speeding through the woods having air blown into your face and and something that can not be explained.
July 26, 200620 yr The Beast helix, because it is fast, half enclosed, and smoother than the rosebowl on Son of Beast. The first helix on Italian Job is also really good.
August 24, 200619 yr Beast without a doubt, but IJST has some nice G force and is a unique way to start the ride off. Launched up through a helix *cough* parking garage*cough* Best Helix outside of KI is Goliath at Six Flags over Texas. They call that the Centerfuge for a reasson.
August 24, 200619 yr http://www.extremepki.com/gallery/displayi...lbum=152&pos=11 TOPGUN does have a helix by Son of Beast. Ummm...That's the second helix on SoB.
August 24, 200619 yr I actually hate helix's because all you do is go in a circle and then get extreme g'forces applied to you. I don't really know of a helix in Adventure Express but I may just not remember one and I agree topgun doesn't have one either. But.. I voted Vortex not cause it is just a great way to cap off the ride in gerneral
August 24, 200619 yr I think topgun meant to link to this image: http://extremepki.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-3089 Topgun does have a helix.
August 24, 200619 yr Yeah its that one on the end, also this picture really shows how short Top Gun really is also
August 24, 200619 yr I think topgun meant to link to this image: http://extremepki.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-3089 Topgun does have a helix. Well then, that makes some sense.
August 25, 200619 yr That is considered a Carousel Turn, when the track enters a turn, and exits either slightly higher or lower and goes back the direction it came. Therfor, no, TG does NOT have a helix.
August 25, 200619 yr Thanks Tom. I was wondering about that. Didn't want to say anything to bring it up at first, as I wasn't quite sure....
