If I was told "Everyone stay calm, we will do our best to get you out of here" would be completely frightening and I think I would be more scared then not knowing what was going on.

Great point, If I was a guest I would also feel much more safe with what Chris said than what Chris maybe should have said.

I think it's funny that everyone is all bent out of shape over it. Quite honestly, it was probably the first thing that popped into his head or whatever and as he was reacting to the situation, he wasn't really thinking about the people coming back or whatever, he was probably more focused on getting them to the ground... If you were in his situation, when your 200 someodd feet above the ground, and something goes wrong, are you going to be thinking, gee i better not say that, these people won't come back... I mean there are things more important than getting 30 people to come back to an amusement park, such as getting thirty people safely to the ground... (sorry that was really cynical and sarcastic, but it's my two cents, take it for what it's worth...)
