Why has Mr Freeze been closed all season at Six Flags St Louis? Are they planning on fixing the ride or removing it?

a. It's been closed most of the summer, since an incident on Batman and Robin: The Chiller at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey.

b. Are they planning on fixing the ride or removing it (Mr. Freeze at SFStL)? Yes.

This year was not the year for LIM coasters. Chiller, Mr Freeze, Steel Venom, Volcano: The Blast Coaster and the Flights of Fear all had problems.

I guess they're starting to learn that the best way to do launches is with the Intarocket system.

Well Paramount tried it hypersonically, but that turned out to be all hot air.

They really got Screwed & Shafted on that deal.

What kind of problems did Flight of Fear have? I know they shut it down for a few days.

Flight of Fear was shut for an inspection after the New Jersey incident. It reopened shortly thereafter, but the Six Flags Premier coasters were closed significantly longer. Neither Mr. Freeze has reopened, to my knowledge, though Joker's Jinx and Poltergeist are running.

What happend on the chiller?
