The Beast Filming

Featured Replies

I got to the park at around 7:10am and checked in at the security gate, and parked in the VIP area. I met up with BoddaH, Dane, Fusion Dude, and a few other people. We all waited outside until about 7:30ish, when we were lead back to The Beast by Jeff Seibert. Once there we waited a few more minutes, while we were treated to free doughnuts, and drinks. We took the back way onto the loading platform, where we again waited for them to get the cameras situated. While we waited, we talked to the producer of the show, who told us a little bit about it. It was for the Japaneese TV network Nipon TV, which is kinda like out ABC, NBC, and CBS all rolled into one. The name of the show is "Scream Machines." Me and BoddaH rode in the second to last seat a total of three times, so they could shoot the train from all different angles. After filming, we took a small break, got more doughnuts and drinks, and watched as they loaded the other two trains onto the track. (they were only running one for the filming) The filming had wrapped up just after 10, and they let us all stay in line for the "first" ride of the day.

After filming, we all walked around the park for a while, hitting most of the major rides. Me and BoddaH left around 2. Hey Dane...SHUT UP! :D
