italianchef
Tonight I went to PKI with two of my friends for FearFest. I noticed immediately in the parking lot that the park was super-crowded. Before entering the park we renewed our season passes for next year. I was surprised to get a "temporary" pass and learn that "officially" we don't know whether the park will be "PKI" or "KI" yet. First we rode Adventure Express and we waited a lot longer than usual. Next we saw Monster Mash. WOW!!!! It was awesome! This show's singing and dancing was as good as Graveyard Shift or a lower-tiered Vegas show. Well done Kings Island. Next we visited Holiday Horror, which was cute. After that we walked around the park looking for a shorter-lined Halloween attraction and couldn't find any. So we left early and ate dinner out. Have a great day! PhantomTheater
Cedar Point doesnt mail out their passes until febuary at least. I wouldnt be surprised if they do the same with KI.
PKIVortex
It would be nice if they decide to mail us our real 2007 passes. It sure would save a trip next spring to Pass Processing.
The Interpreter
At Carowinds, we were told they would not be mailing out the passes, nor would a trip to season pass processing be necessary. We were also told the temporary Maxx pass is good at all Cedar Fair parks (starting 01-01-2007) until our first visit to Carowinds. On our first visit to Carowinds, we were told, they will exchange our temporary pass for a permanent one (which will NOT have your picture on it) at the admissions gate. Even they weren't sure how the parking would be handled, though.

We saw it on Friday and I thought it was really good. My kids (11 &12) thought it was okay until they played Michael Jackson, then they were a little turned off. I think the dancers did a great job.
