jungleboogie101
Hey everyone! So I went to FearFest Friday the 13th with my mom, sister and 3 friends. we had to pick one of them up a little bit later than I had wanted so we didn't end up getting there until about 7:20. getting in the park took a bit longer too cause of traffic and then we had to wait in line for tickets so it was almost 8:00 by the time we actually got in the gates! I have to say that all the fog and everything around the gates was Great! and it was alot better and more scary than last year! also all the guys running around and stuff were really good and really added to the scary atmosphere! Then we saw the Undertaker who was great! he had a really Amazing(capital A!) evil laugh!! so then we got a picture taken with him which was awesome! Then we got pictures with some more guys like the huge bat thing, frankenstien, then one of us all around the herse, one with a headless guy, and then one of us with a dracula guy who was really funny! we also got chased by a really creepy looking monster guy with really long arms! haha and some sliders really freaked us out! Some of the girls in my group were hungry (I could have waited to eat but oh well) so we went to festhaus and got some pizza. it took a little while to eat and then we dicided to go to Circus of horrors. It was a kind of long line (but I have no idea exactly how long anything took because my watch recently broke..) so once we got to the building the clown guy inside was telling us the rules about not touching the clowns and they wont touch you, etc..then he was like 'hey can I have a hi five?' to me and of coarse I forgot what he had just said about not touching the clowns so I gave him one haha. and he kinda yelled at me. then he asked for my name and I told him so he yelled really loudly 'Hey guys! Jessie touched me!!" so then throughout the whole thing all these clowns kept asking which one was jessie and then they kept following me! it was scary. but alot of fun! and I didn't keep the glasses on the whole time because they give me a bad headache. (I know not wearing them takes a bit away from the attraction but oh well I still thought it was scary and I still jumped alot!) Then we went over to Headless Hollow. on the way there we passed a couple other attractions but the lines looked way too long so we kept going. one of the ones we passed was Cowboy Carnage and I couldn't see Hauntguy but me all the girls in my group yelled 'hi hauntguy!' just to see if anyone looked and someone working there looked and said hi but I don't think it was him because his personality didn't seem to fit with what people on here have said and I didn't see this person yelling in anyones face lol... so anyway then we got to headless hollow and the line didn't look too bad so we waited. I think the train came 2 or 3 times before we loaded on it. the train ride part was cool. then when it 'broke down' it was expected but still pretty scary! then we had to wait in a really long line to get to the actual walkpart which really took the suspence and stuff away. and made me not even feel like in a scared mood anymore. but once we started walking it was scary. I definately got suprized a bunch of times especially in one part (but I'm not gonna tell what part because it will spoil it for people who have not been through it!) I really liked this one alot but I was like 'what the heck?' when there was no headless horseman at the end......people have said that he was there...so how did I miss him?? Then a bunch of confusing stuff happened with one of my friends having to leave and meet somone who was pciking her up and stuff...so that took a while. We then were walking past the italian job stunt track and my sister had never been on it so we decided to get in the line (which was not long at all.) the lady working there asked how many were in our group and we said 5 so she let us cut infront of everyone, which was awesome! I love this ride because its really smooth and always fun! then we wanted to do the Asylum so we walked all the way back there but it was a really long line so we dicided that we would have to miss this one this year :-/ we walked right past Vortex and there was barely any line so we got on! it was really fun and my mom had never been on it before so that was cool that she got to do it! it was a really good ride but kinda painful since we were close to the back. We walked past holliday horror and it didn't look at all as big as people make it seem. there werent even any elves! what the heck was up with that??? Then we were gonna go to Delirium but as we were walking by RL Stine Scream Street there was no line at all and the guy by the gates usured us in! we had no idea what to expect because nobody has ever mentioned that attraction! I knew it was there last year (But I hadn't gotten a chance to do it then) but no1 talked about it or anything this year and I don't even rememebr it being on the map! but anyway this one was GREAT! It was especially good because we were the only people in the entire thing so all of the actors followed us around the whole time! this was my favorite fearfest thing for sure! We had like five minutes left so we decided to go do cornstalkers since we were kind of close. there wasn't really any line so we went in almost right away. this one was fun and they did get a bunch of jumps and screams out of me (especially the guy who crawls across the ground!) but I was confused when it was over because there was a whole section from last year that wasn't there! the best part wasn't there! why did they take out the part with that wagon and the guys who jump out of the boxes and the one that jumps untop of them and stuff? I thought they really needed that part for this attraction to be totally worthwhile. Then we walked over to starbucks and it had just closed. some nice people waiting in line let us in the door, hehe. The hot chocolate was REALLY good! Then we were walking out of the park and got a picture with the guy who has a chainsaw, One of the sliders, and another guy who was really tall with long hair lol. The whole day was really fun! I just wish it wouldn't have been SOO freezing. and that we would have had alot more time. I have no idea how someone could have done every attraction and some rides in one night. thats crazy! Well it was a great night and a great fearfest experience! Props to all the awesome actors!!! :-) Pics are here: http://entertainment.webshots.com/album/554844759DgWbGj tell me what you think! Avatar
Sounds like you ladies really had a great time. I’m worried for Frankenstein in your pictures. A lot of guest are so worried about doing every attraction that the miss the spontaneity of the adventure. Thanks for sharing your evening with us.
