According to an article in the Toledo Blade, Cedar Fair, L.P. will now be known as Cedar Fair Entertainment Company from this point forward. They made the decision because of their large collection of properties that are based on entertainment. The change will be discussed in the November 1st conference call. The legal name of the company will remain Cedar Fair, L.P.

Many may remember that when Taft sold its amusement park division in 1984, the company that was formed was the Kings Entertainment Co. (KECO). KECO was around until the parks were purchased by Paramount in 1992.
