Kings Island closing weekend.

I went to Kings Island's closing weekend and had a fantastic time saturday and sunday. I will not go into

details, which i am sure has already been stated in other trip reports. I drove down on friday october 27th

and checked into the hotel room. I had rain all the way from cambridge,ohio to mason. The rain continued

all friday evening and so i decided to not attend friday evening. I have never been a fan of riding or walking

in rain. I did however go and see the movie flicka. Good movie. Saturday,went to the park and processed

season pass and off to the park. First ride of the day was avatar and then went to The Beast. Stayed all

day and had a great time. In the afternoon, rode the pumpkin patch express. After leaving the train at

the pumpkin patch and while waiting for the return trip-a tree fell across the tracks. Everbody had to

walk back to the other station. I believe the train was closed the remainder of day. I did not go back to

ride on sunday. Sunday, went to the park and had another great time. Had dinner at the wings buffet.

That was good. Had pasta alfredo and chicken,salad. The closing ride on The Beast after the regular line

was cleared, was excellent. A perfect way to end the season. I am a media person, who throughout the

season does amusement park shows and includes KI with all good reports. I am already going through

the pain and suffering of the off season. I have 169 days to wait for Kings Island to open.

I'm glad you had a good weekend I don't know how we missed you on Sunday. Anyone who makes Avatar their first ride for the day is some one that has their priorities straight. Thanks for the report see ya next year.

To help pass the time in the off season, i also enjoy movies-so i hope there is alot of films i want to

see and that i work a-lot of overtime. Can't wait to hear what KI has in store for next season and to ride

maverick at CP.
