KIfan73
I snapped these Saturday night after walking from my ride on Top Gun. I thought they turned out pretty good, and have a cool vibe to them...

Snake Attack!
Maybe someone can finally awnswer this for me. You see the big building withe the movie poster to the left of Face/Off under the arch. What is that and why must it be so tall.
Avatar
The photo is dark, but I believe the building that you are referring to is the Paramount Theater. The really tall part in the back is the Stage of the Theater and the reason it's so tall is so that when they need to raise or lower curtains, backgrounds, letter marques, props are even special lighting that there is a place to raise them to or lower them from. One of the best articles that I have seen on this forum came from an interview that Ryan did in August 2005 titled PKICentral Gets Schooled By The Man. In it Ryan had the opportunity to go up into the top of the backstage area. In the article it has a link for some photo’s but as we all know they are working on that now and can’t be viewed at present.

KIfan73
Hey, thanks for the comments. That view just really struck me when I saw it. I've got one of them as a wallpaper on my computer. Kind of the perfect end of season shot. For me, the pics kind of define the Kings Island offseason. The park is dormant now, and the new season is far off in the horizon somewhere. Deep thoughts, yes I know...
Benny
Im new here those pics are awesome. I like the way the sky looks above Delirium. I went to Kings Island for the first time this summer, and loved it, i especially loved The Beast, and Vortex, didnt have time for face/off though.
