Dane
PKI Landmark Receives New Look At 2:00am on the morning of September 27, 2003, the Paramount's Kings Island sign toppled over, the victim of a horrible storm. An area landmark, the sign was originally erected in 1978 and has welcomed millions of guests to the Park. If you've been to the Park lately, you've probably seen signs that a replacement is on its way. It is. The new sign will be the same size as the old one (82 feet high x 48 feet wide), but will have a larger surface area and an increased electronic message center for guest information. From a design perspective, the new sign will feature the PKI logo and the famous Paramount Pictures image of the Bronson Gate. The exact installment date of the new sign is still being determined, but keep an eye on our calendar of upcoming events and we'll keep you informed. One thing is for certain, you won't be able to miss it! Souce PKI "In the Loop" News.
