scotty
The following was taken from POINTBUZZ.COM -- Awesome News!!!! I just received an email back from John McClure at Cedarpoint in regards to a question about the All Ohio Pass. The parking pass WILL be on the ID card, and not a parking decal. Here's what he stated in the email: "We recently made the decision to upgrade our tollbooth and season pass systems for the 2007 season, and because of this, our parking passes will now all be going on the ID cards as well. There will be no vehicle decals." Looks like all the complaining about the decals were heard after all! ------------------ Looks like we will have it on the pass after all!! SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Interpreter
Wow. Cedar Fair is apparently listening! I sure hope this applies to Carowinds as well....
Reclaimer
I believe all the former Paramount Parks already switched to parking on the ID when KI did. I checked out the other parks' sites and they all had removed the bit about the decal.
The Interpreter
Thanks, Reclaimer! I am going to bed a much happier person tonight. Funny how something really dumb like a decal like that can upset a guy! I sure hope the temporary Maxx pass combined with a parking pass bought for a non-home park doesn't unnecessarily confuse things!
Reclaimer
Hey I don't blame you! Had I been a pass-holder this year, I'd have been raising hell too.
Guest faceoff
If you bought a maxx pass at Kings Island and a parking pass at Cedar Point-this would mean, the parking pass at Cedar Point would still be a parking sticker for your car- correct? DegenRider
id assume they would let you get the all ohio parking pass. Thats just me could be wrong
cstrwomann
I bought my Maxx Pass at KI because I didn't want to pay for 3 parking passes. If I want to convert to the all Ohio pass in the Spring can I do this? I have already bought the passes for CP/GL so I don't see why they wouldn't do it. I'm glad they are going to a card and not a sticker.
The Interpreter
I've posted the answer to that question for you two times already. (Sigh). See Cedar Point's website, or call guest relations at either park where you have parking now. I'm sure they will happily let you convert, if you pay the difference between what you paid out and what an all Ohio parking pass costs at the time you convert (be aware that parking and passes do go up as the season goes by, or at least they have in years past...Cedar Point season pass parking has already gone from $50 to $70...last I checked the all Ohio parking pass was $75...you get NO credit for season pass parking that was 'free,' and came with a renewed Paramount season pass...)
