CBS Broadcasting Reviews New Coasters for Year

Featured Replies

haha "less than thrilling", I guess they aren't in any way shape or form Roller coaster enthusiasts over there at CBS. Of everyone Ive talked to, this year will be a great year!

Maybe there wont be many records this year, but that doesnt mean that Firehawk, Maverick, Griffon, Renegade, THBS wont be an amazing experience. Everyone I have talked to is excited for this year!

well not quite...it wasnt CBS in 2004 when the coaster was starting being built or in 2005 when it opened. (Unless you are referring to the our coaster's sister?)

And I have not heard anyone, anyone, aside from a few on here, get off of IJ when I'm at Unload and not say that they "loved the ride", "weren't expecting it to be so great", or "Let's ride it again"

Many people love Italian Job, and I for one think it's a fun ride...which is exactly why I don't try to put ANY stock in records. Of all the factors that go into a ride, not one to me makes it better than another, it is what you get when you put all those factors together that makes it 'thrilling'.

You are right though, the one thing I was thinking when I was reading that article is, "what the heck do they know about thrilling?"

It's the same company. Back when Italian Job was planned, the parks were part of Viacom, and so was CBS. The split came later...

right, I was just saying, it wasnt just CBS, and deffinately not the same department that published that article!
