Stewart32
Hey All! Long time no post and glad to visit the forum again. Well... the family and I have been making at least one pilgramage to KI from KY for the last 3 years. The boy is just under 48" barefoot now. He seems to be ready for the major ride attractions (those without vetical loops anyway) and it would be great to ride them with him. So the Q is... do you think the operators will make him remove his shoes to check his height? Thanks and happy thrill seeking.
CoastersRZ
For attractions that are not over in Boomerang Bay, the height measurements are taken with shoes on (shoes are required to be worn on most rides anyway). However, in Boomerang Bay, the height measurements are taken without shoes. Also, the park has added two height check stations on International Stree, so that kids can get measured there, and receive a wristband for the rest of the day stating their height so they don`t have to be measured over and over. One of the height check stations is located immediately to the left of the entrance gates after you pass through the gates. It is located near the return visit booth. The other height check station is located on the side of the Eiffel Tower that faces the Chik-Fil-A and is located almost across from the Starbucks location. PKIVortex
It was my understanding they don't actually staff those height check areas. They are just there for the convenience. If you want a wrist band you'll have to ask at the ride.
bparrott03
They do staff them in the morning, before 10 atleast. Sunday they had 3 or 4 workers at one area, measureing ang putting on wristbands.
CoastersRZ
Every time I`ve walked by both of them in the mid-afternoon, they have been staffed with two or three people.
PKIVortex
Hmmmm on my last few visits, May 18th and May 30th, I didn't see anyone there. Maybe they were understaffed?
