raptor Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 When I went to Kings Island this morning, I went to guest services to get my hand stamped and they informed me that the Cedar Point pass would now scan at the gate. This must be the first day for this because when I went to the gate the attendant looked at a supervisor and said how do we do these and she said you have to got guest services and then the attendant said no wait, it scanned. This is nice not to have to full with this now. Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Tuesday morning my Cedar Point Maxx pass scanned at the front gate at Kings Island, as I previously posted here: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?...st&p=161224 Quote

The Interpreter Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 It's okay, the guy at the parking tolls would NOT scan my pass and claimed I had to pay for parking. I nicely refused, pointing out I had paid for All Ohio Parking. Only after he called a supervisor did he finally scan it, and then wave me in silently. Not an apology, not a kiss my foot, nothing. pyrocoasterkid Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 So does this mean the Kings Island Cedar Fair Maxx Passes will now scan at the Cedar Point gate? because that was slightly inconvienent... Quote
PKIVortex Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I doubt it, as they have no way of telling if that's you using the pass or not. Cedar Point does not have the screens to bring pictures up when they scan a pass. Quote
pkiboy Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Just a FYI. If any one has a Maxx or Maxx plus from Kings Island they will scan at Carowinds, Kings Dominion, wonderland and Great America. Note if you look on the back of your pass it says AllCard. All the former Paramount Parks passes this year are AllCard passes. Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 But it won't scan at that Great America place in Gurnee... I am sure Six Flags wishes that Cedar Fair would get on with adding a descriptor to the Great America name in California...and Knott's has been seen as that surname on the Dorney Park website (briefly), and at http://www.rcdb.com which is still using it... coastergirl Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 So does this mean the Kings Island Cedar Fair Maxx Passes will now scan at the Cedar Point gate? because that was slightly inconvienent... We were at Cedar Point yesterday and we still had to go to Guest Services to get our passes scanned and arms stamped to get in. I think we actually got in quicker then alot of the people waiting outside getting their tickets. Quote
ZosoBeast Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 I can confirm that on June 1, the Cedar Point Maxx Pass worked at the scanner at Kings Island. Also, both Firehawk stations were being used today (6-10-07) Forgive me if that was already mentioned on another thread. Bill Quote
PKIVortex Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 They have pretty much been running both stations and trains for the last week. I know they were one day last week though when they didn't. Quote
